I have focussed a large part of my career on being a field geologist. This allowed me to see and understand many mineral deposit types, focussing on gold and base metals. Being a field geologist accommodated my outdoor lifestyle (see "Interests"). My most recent job prior to forming Mako Gold consisted of researching and acquiring mineral properties in West Africa, Brazil and other global jurisdictions. I was also responsible for setting up the initial infrastructure for the exploration activities in Burkina Faso for Orbis Gold Ltd, and leading starting the exploration programs, which led to three discoveries and two resources being announced.Being a native French speaker (along with functional Spanish) and having a having a natural cultural sensitivity has allowed me to forge good relationships in West Africa and elsewhere, making it easy to advance projects in a timely manner.I am the founder and Managing Director of Mako Gold Ltd. which has three exciting gold projects in Burkina Faso and Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa.
