I have over 25 years experience working in the field of environmental consultancy in such topic areas as circular economy, resource efficiency, lean manufacturing, supply chain management, product/material value retention and low carbon sustainable technologies.​I have delivered over 150 projects for the private sector, trade associations and the public sector. Resulted in an annual reduction of over 20,000 tonnes and the development of a new 'best in class' lightweight wine bottle,WRAP: Quantification of the carbon impacts of importing wine to the UK from New Zealand in bulk versus bottled at source,Material Focus: kerbside collection of WEEE, ​The Food and Drink Federation (FDF): Advisor on their five - fold ambition target of zero waste to landfill. ​I have a keen interest in resource efficiency and value retention and, in particular, working with companies and their supply chains within such sectors as construction, retail, packaging, electronics, automotive, hospitality, food and drink, etc. Recently, I have been working more with procurement teams to ensure they have the right environmental information to make procurement decisions that support their impact reduction targets. Examples include the quantification of the environmental impacts of the repair versus replace options in the automotive sector, the development of supplier benchmarking software and the development of supplier guidance documents.
