Safe Haven London is a registered charity which provides permanent housing to social tenants and their families in West London.Responsible for all strategic and operational management of more than £50m of property assets and £24m of debt facility. Achievements:• Successfully led the transition to a new set of commercial arrangements on the restructuring and refinancing of the charity in 2016.• Successfully managed the charity's loan covenants• Led various multi-million pound capital improvement projects, including a comprehensive refurbishment program of the charity's housing portfolio and a lease extension program• Developed and successfully proposed a new 5 year strategy for the charity to the Trustees, which is now being executed

Chock Professional Services Limited provided investment appraisal, tax planning, accounting and company secretarial services to a group of High Net Worth investors' investments and project-based consultancy to Public Benefit Entities such as charities and universities both in the UK and Ireland.Achievements:• Co-advisor for a £38.75m refinancing of university student accommodation through an Income Strip arrangement with a Pension fund. The transaction released £11.5m of cash to the university.• Acted as consultant CFO to a London-based housing charity with £50m of charitable assets. Alongside the charity's CEO, completed a £24m refinancing of the charity.• Worked to achieve a successful investment-grade credit rating for an Irish housing charity. The charity was rated "BBB" by Standard & Poors.• Produced various tax planning papers and investment appraisals for a group of high net worth investors looking at investments into Irish and UK residential property and student accommodation, e-commerce and QSR franchises• Managed the finance function for a portfolio of SMEs and start-ups across property; QSR franchises; and small consultancy and broking businesses.

A specialist finance outsourcing company providing flexible finance resource and outsourced solutions to predominately technology SMEs from project work and consultancy to a full-service finance function.• Completed several accounting system migrations, including revising the Chart of Accounts• Turned a loss-making client into Isosceles' 2nd most profitable account through value-add to the client• Through better management of the credit control cycle, removed a clients overdraft requirement to Nil and allowed the owner to remove his personal guarantee to the bank.• Produced an Excel model to support a £100m Government contract tender bid.

Responsible for the finance team of 6 people for a £250m division of TUI UK providing month end margin reporting; Management Information; divisional budgeting and forecasting; CAA returns; FX requirement forecasts. Concurrent responsibility for a finance team of 12 at the Irish subsidiary in Dublin.Achievements:• Asked to concurrent manage the Finance function of an Irish subsidiary company (12 people). Spending 2 days a week in Dublin and 3 in the UK. Responsible for the end to end financial management of the subsidiary.• Reconciled and agreed substantial Inter-company balances between the UK and Irish companies• Conducted a major Balance Sheet reconciliation exercise to ensure that Irish subsidiary's accounts gave an accurate view of the financial performance of the business, particularly in respect of chartered flying costs and fixed accommodation contracts.

Responsible for the management accounting for a £250m division of TUI UK with a team of 3 management accountants.Achievements:• Redesigned the month end finance processes to improve the accuracy of the reporting• Managed and developed 4 part-qualified management accountants• Took over the brochure pricing process to ensure that target pricing and margins were achieved• Worked with the Inventory and Reservations teams to make better use of the reservations system, to improve the accuracy of the cost base and pricing held in the system and to reduce the scope for agent booking errors and improve the accuracy of month end reporting• Instigated thorough Balance Sheet reconciliations and improved the month end review process

Reporting to the divisional Financial Controller of a £100m division of TUI UK and responsible for management accounting and all pricing, MI and analysis for the division. Managing a team of 4 analysts and management accountants.• Implemented a new Pricing software application, including development of bespoke functionality such as automatic upload of pricing to the brochure production system• Specified and produced business cases for new functionality for the reservations system to streamline brochure set up time through uploads of pricing and cost data• Member of a Group-wide special projects team to evaluate a new reservations system.• Developed a competitor analysis suite to compare competitor pricing with the divisions cost base. This allowed the Product and Contracting teams to target specific areas where the division was not competitive.
