Peter Leitans comes with a strong IT and project management background in the global mining industry, construction and government and has worked with Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, AngloGold Ashanti, Iluka, Impala Platinum and Barrack Gold, Downer Group both in Australia and overseas.His work included a wide range of roles such as program/project management, technical management, technical and strategic development covering such activities as business case development, consulting, service delivery, insourcing, outsourcing, governance development and systems implementation.He has recently completed a contract at Downer Group to program manage the implementation of EcoSys Project Management and Controls System. This involved developing the business case, establishing relevant software licence and cloud contracts, interfacing with the IT group, developing roll-out plans and establishing the support processes.Peter’s strengths are his ability to complete difficult projects, his managerial and strategic capabilities and his qualities are his creativity and ability to achieve successful outcomes especially in challenging and difficult circumstances. Accordingly, he is looking for challenging roles in which he can bring to bear those qualities and use his broad experience and education. He is very mobile and able to undertake the work in any global location.
