As an NDT Consultant / Inspection Design Engineer I am responsible for writing technical justifications and capability statements for a designed inspection, advising the customer how an inspection could be modified to improve detect detection capability.Within this role I also design inspections for complex geometry components and this can include designing bespoke equipment for specific NDT inspections using 3D CAD software. These inspections are used on components after manufacture prior to going into service and during routine maintenance intervals (in-service inspections). I am part of the audit team who oversees the inspections and ensure they are being carried out in accordance with the procedure and relevant safety standards.Holds SC security clearanceQualified PCN Level 2 in Ultrasonic testing
