Every opportunity along the way has been a learning experience, no matter what kind of work it was. From packing and shipping in a warehouse to data entry for a university professor's research project, from cruise ship guest services to automotive detail, and even teaching abroad for a five year stint, each job came with its challenges and required a different skill set.Of course, the biggest takeaway from my various workplaces was a continual development of transferable skills: attention to detail, strong public speaking, a strong work ethic, the ability to manage my time efficiently, and the flexibility to adapt to any given situation.Moving forward, I will approach any new opportunity with the same mindset; I will be prepared to learn, to work hard, and to grow with the people around me.
