Amada Senior Care of Southern Maine is a full-service, non-medical home care agency which employs highly-trained caregivers to help seniors with their ADLs (Activities Of Daily Living). Often times, the assistance we offer enables seniors to remain in the comfort of their homes, thus, keeping them out of facilities. Amada also specializes in helping seniors access their Long Term Care Insurance policies, as well as other types of funding sources, so they do not have to shoulder the financial burden of care all on their own. Indeed, Amada is the industry leader in terms of our in-depth knowledge and experience processing long term care claims. What is often overwhelming for seniors and their families--in this case, wrestling with insurance companies--we manage for them. We have a full-time Insurance Claims Specialist, whose primary function is to make sure Long Term Care claims are processed successfully. Once we get a policy turned on, we bill the insurance company directly and they pay us directly, so as to minimize the out-of- pocket expenses for the family. Needless to say, this is a win-win scenario for seniors seeking care, as well as for their families.
