Serve as Managing Editor of The Science Teacher, NSTA's peer-reviewed journal for high school science teachers. I am the liaison for our publishing partner, Taylor & Francis/Routledge, managing every aspect of editorial development and content delivery. I supervise our in-house editorial staff and work closely with our external editors-in-chief and editorial board members to achieve the strategic goals of each journal. I am responsible for ensuring the highest quality of visual presentation, journalistic excellence, and engaging content while remaining on schedule and on budget. I oversee the manuscript peer-review process, set editorial calendars, and post timely material to our website via our content management system. All of this is done in collaboration with our professional learning, marketing, and communications groups to ensure that our products meet the needs of a wide variety of stakeholders.
