CurrentPeter is an Australian citizen working for A Division Blackpool Group.A Distributor of Challenger, Firesafe & STE equipment.Planning and executing the most efficient, cost effective, time sensitive, method of distribution for all deliverables, ensuring the use of appropriate, validated, packaging and processes•• Deliver savings and reductions in Operational costs improvements year on year•Arrange export shipments worldwide via Freight Forwarders, and other third party providers by air, road, sea and courier.•Provide a clear Shipping Plan, highlighting variations, and risks, providing corrective actions as required•Support traceability through existing procedures•Developing and maintaining appropriate daily/ weekly/ monthly reporting mechanisms , to measure, monitor, and control, improving performance against agreed Operational targets•Provision of visual measures•Acting as the lead, determine optimum methods for handling, storage, on site transportation, and distribution of materials, both internally and externally.•Cost effectively recruit, train, develop and retain, a motivated, flexible workforce. Creating a culture of quality and ownership, whilst utilizing resources efficiently to improve productivity•Conduct appraisals in line with Company expectations, providing good performance management•Day to day people management responsibilities – leave, attendance, disciplinary etc.•Promote the principles of Lean Manufacturing and the adoption of a 5S culture•Effective planning and implementation of change•Ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance with all regulations and laws governing business etiquette.• Responsible for ALL HSE related documentation and controls for the Blackpool site • ISO9001 Manager responsible for all procedures
