iEmpathize is an international human rights non-profit with the mission to end exploitation and human trafficking. iEmpathize educates and empowers youth and adults most affected by the issue and the general public, guided by survivor leaders. iEmpathize specializes in the production of original media and utilizes a curated library of educational multimedia to engage sector leaders whose work intersects with the issue of exploitation. Prioritizing empathy at its foundation, iEmpathize exists to evoke empathy and empower people to eradicate child exploitation.I am the chief video producer for iEmpathize, and as such, serve as the chief video editor, motion graphic artist, cinematographer, and director. · Edited and shot the well-received environmental 4 part doc-series on the ground-breaking study and practice of Holistic Management, pioneered by TED speaker and ecologist, Allan Savory, the 2010 Buckminster Fuller Challenge winner for his work in reversing desertification. The series is called Consumer Revolution, and it examines the complexities surrounding the supply chains of four commodities: meat, dairy, wool and leather, and the need to implement regenerative practices at every step in the chain. · Produced, shot, and edited the documentary, Investigating and Prosecuting Human Trafficking, currently being used in Law Enforcement agencies and academies, at all levels, in 20 different states, to help officers, prosecutors, and investigators more effectively fight the perpetrators of slavery.· Produced, edited, and animated the anti-human trafficking curriculum series, the Empower Youth Program, an engaging 10 part series teaching teens how to both avoid and/or escape exploitive situations. It's currently being used in hundreds of school districts in more than 20 states. I am also the co-director, co-producer, DP, editor, and animator of the Spanish version, that will be widely released in Mexico and Latin America.

At Just Media, a social justice focused, documentary production company, I had the chance to work with the Emmy award-winning film producer, Henry Ansbacher, producer of the oscar-nominated film, "The Last Campaign of Governor Booth Gardner". Ansbacher, Denise Cox, and I collaborated on "Ñ", an unorthodox, multi-platform documentary project about first-generation American born Latinos that uses cultural and familial stories to build community among a large and growing population, children of Latin-American immigrants parents, born in the US yet straddling two worlds, main stream America and the homeland of their parents. During my time at Just Media, I was the Director of photography and editor for Being Ñ, filming, editing and producing dozens of videos for the series.I also created several trailers, promos, and special feature videos for Henry Ansbacher's widely praised, 3d feature documentary, American Mustang, which focused on the plight of wild horses in the American west.

Produced multiple videos and films for local, regional and national use by Campus Crusade for Christ, a ministry involved in 190 countries. Categories of productions included promotional videos, instructional videos, music videos, motion graphics, documentaries, event videos, and short films. • Produced multiple promotional videos directed at millions of college students for large annual conferences in Denver, Boston, and Los Angeles. • Produced multiple promotional videos directed at college students for worldwide mercy and mission trips.• Directed and produced several funny and thoughtful short films for use by hundreds of individual campus ministries across the country. • Created multiple videos for regional and national fundraising campaigns and individual professional staff member use.

Co-directed the Denver Christmas Conference, a regional conference for the ministry of Cru. Christian college students from New Mexico, Wyoming, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Colorado would come and be challenged to change the world. Held annually in downtown Denver.

Mentor and minister to college students on the University of New Mexico campus. We sought to help Christian students progress on their spiritual journey while they were at school, by engaging them in community service, social justice, missions, bible study, and interpersonal coaching and counsel.I had the chance during my time at UNM to lead multiple small groups, mentor and counsel dozens of college students, engage in monthly public speaking opportunities, led several campus-wide awareness campaigns, build lasting collaborative connections with other religious organizations, and helped lead (with my wife) two art and film festivals. I also produced dozens of video promos, both for our local ministry and the regional area ministry.
