Peter leads the Payments Consulting Practice at NTT DATA where he partners with clients on their payments transformation journey to navigate the complexities of the payments ecosystem, and delivers, innovative solutions that drive growth, efficiency, and customer engagement.Peter is a leader of change and transformation with over 30 years consulting experience in the financial services industry. A wide range of consulting success including developing strategies, improving operations, delivering cost savings and process improvement programs, and leading integration projects at some of the largest financial services integration programs in the US, UK, and Canada.Since 2015, Peter has led some of the largest transformation engagements in the acquiring and issuing industry, as his clients have divested card portfolios, dissolved joint venture relationships, and acquired and integrated fintechs into their payments ecosystems. Representative Experience:* Following a fintech acquisition, Led the integration of the acquired gateway into existing ecosystem• Led a program to transition and dissolve a merchant services line of business at a Top 5 US banking institution. * Pre-Legal Day 1 Retail Consumer Bank Transition Lead on the Truist Merger (formerly BB&T and SunTrust). Ensured LD1 required activities were created across the entire Retail Bank footprint. * Led a 2 year program to transition people (1000+), property (4 buildings), and credit card customer and account data (8 million active accounts). Led a team of 25 consultants to successfully complete Legal Day 1 activities, meet all required service level metrics during an 18 month Transition Services Agreement period, and deliver final conversion on schedule and within budget.• Chief Operations Officer for a multi million dollar, 900+ consultant consent order document and process remediation program in a commercial lending division. Successfully onboarded and enabled the 900 person team over a 6 month period through streamlined hiring and training processes and effective coordination with vendor management, asset management, and lending lines of business.
