Second in Command for 20 Armoured Company. Deployed over 120 soldiers and officers to Canada to conduct a large scale repair programme over the winter months. Led the training and preparation of the Company for a two month deployment on exercise in Canada providing equipment support and technical assistance under arduous conditions. Deployed to Latvia as the engineering subject matter expert with the 1st Battalion, Grenadier Guards.

Responsible for the Motor Transport Workshop in the Falkland Islands. Led a team of over 30 soldiers from the Royal Air Force and the Army and 14 civilian vehicle mechanics to repair and maintain a 400+ vehicle fleet. Responsible for the development of junior soldiers and non-commissioned officers. Oversaw a variety of engineering projects.

Responsible for leading and managing 120+ recruits and four permanent staff. Supported and administered soldiers under Phase 2 training to become qualified vehicle mechanics for the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

Led a platoon of up to 60. Completed mission specific training for Afghanistan and spent 5 months as one of four officers in the rear operations group, providing support to the deployed element.
