Duties include, checking aircraft systems for proper operation, checking aircraft supplies and mandatory safety equipment, completing entries into the safety management system prior to each leg flown, cleaning and preparing the cabin for flight, monitoring fueling, completing all FMS entries prior to departure and arrival, performing both pilot flying duties and pilot not flying duties in conjunction with approved company policies and procedures, communicate any mechanical abnormality to the PIC and maintenance personnel. As of February of 2024 I upgraded to Captain within the Hawker fleet at SC Aviation. The duties for PIC include flying the aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company policy. More specifically, duties include but are not limited to flight planning, weight and balance calculations, performance calculations, fuel planning, crew coordination, crew resource management, and maintenance write up’s.
