Pete is the President of Executive Compensation Consulting. He has worked extensively with compensation committees and management teams, helping them align their executive compensation programs to their near and long-term business and leadership strategies while ensuring the program designs are not unduly influenced by perverse proxy advisory policies that can weaken this alignment. Pete also stresses the importance of designing a practical communications approach – externally with shareholders and proxy advisory firms and internally with senior executives – so that all stakeholders understand how the program design effectively links pay and performance.Prior to being named President of Executive Compensation Consulting, Pete was a Senior Managing Director and the firm’s Atlantic Region head. As President of the firm’s executive compensation consulting practice, he is heavily involved with the successful execution of the firm’s business strategy, including mentoring and guiding the firm’s compensation consulting team as they continue to help clients align their business and leadership strategies with their executive pay programs. He and his team will also be instrumental in expanding Pearl Meyer’s services and capabilities to meet our client needs as their own focus expands into human capital and talent management.We believe that executive compensation can be a catalyst to help you achieve your business goals and support the execution of your strategy.
