Worked in collaboration with staff from the School of Education and the aging and disability centre of Trinity College and was involved in European funded projects such as Physical Activity Leader Project (PPALS) and Inclusive Physical Education (INPHYSED)Participated in a European Winter School (INPHYSED) organised in collaboration with EIT Health, Technical University Munich, and Trinity College Dublin. The goal of this winter school was to collaborate in an online setting with people from all over Europe with and without an intellectual disability (ID) to create an innovative solution to be inclusive in physical education. This was the second time following being part of the group that won first prize in the summer school in 2019. The PPALS 2 is an EIT Health Campus programme that gives older adults with ID the skills and confidence they need to lead their peers in a range of games and activities designed to improve functional fitness. This in collaboration with EIT Health, University of Barcelona, and Technical University of Munich. My role in this project was to watch the online sessions that the older adults with ID were being coached to then go and lead the sessions themselves. This project was not meant to be online but to be in person but due to COVID this needed to change as the deadline for completion of the project was the beginning of December. Therefore, I was to write a report of each session and an overall executive summary as a quality assessment of the sessions and if the older adults were actually improving as the weeks went on and would they be ready to coach sessions following the completion of the project. These reports were given to the team in Trinity to provide them with an insight into the sessions so they could look on way to improve the PPAL program in the future
