As a Senior Naval Architectural Technologist assigned to the Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ship (AOPS) program at Irving Shipbuilding Inc. This involves the delivery of six ice-capable ships for the Royal Canadian Navy. I have been assigned to a variety of tasks, these include the following:· Review and compare the latest 3D model against the as built condition of the vessel’s units. identifying discrepancies and produce detailed proposals to fix the variances. Proposals include detailed written instructions supplemented a combination of redlined drawings, hand sketches, AutoCAD drawings and at time 3D models.· Check structural outfit drawings against the vessel specs, Class regulations, supplier information, and the 3D model, and that all drawings adhere to standard drafting practices for accuracy and clarity. · Provide guidance and instruction to junior and intermediate technologists.

As Senior Designer with Subsea 7, evolved in all aspects engineering support, from procedural sketches to detailed drawing, from basic concept to 3D modelling and detailed design. As well as Managed a design department that grew from 2 to recently 5 designers
