I work with college advisors and students from across the country to develop leadership programs on their campus. My responsibilities include facilitating weekly calls on topics such as personal and public leadership development, training students in the best practices of running a campus chapter, connecting students and administrators to the resources they need for their chapter to thrive, managing chapter KPIs, and tracking operational milestones to align with NSLS business objectives. In my role, I present at leadership events, virtually and in-person, to hundreds of students and college administrators. Green City Force is a workforce development non-profit that works with youth ages 18-25 from public housing and prepares them for work in green energy construction. I ran the business operations for the social enterprise arm of the nonprofit. • I supervised and developed at-risk youth on leadership and data analysis skills. I developed a program to enhance Google sheets and Excel skills and developed an advance team of data coordinators who went from basic data entry to performing advance Excel skills like using pivot tables, using power functions, and conducting basic statistical data analysis. • Technical skills aren't enough for youth to thrive in their careers. Therefore, I included leadership development in our training that focused on character development and how to deal with life issues that affect career progress. These skills included self-awareness, social awareness, relationship management, time management, and goal setting. • I provided and presented to key stakeholders business analytics to help drive work schedules, invoicing properly, and Staffing models.• I led staffing development for the social enterprise. I solved complex problems that involved employees moving on to full-time careers while also maintaining a full staff, sometimes needing to double it. This involved constant analysis of staffing gaps, regular interviews, and follow-ups with employees about their career search.

I worked on two main projects: the Youth Fund Distribution Committee (YFDC) & the Cleveland Hights-University Heights school district community needs assessment. The YFDC is a youth leadership program focused on philanthropy. The community needs assessment focused on strengthing the school community by identifying gaps in social services for students. • In the YFDC program, I was promoted from co-facilitator to Program Lead to help reignite a program that was ended in 2011. The program just completed another successful year.• For YFDC, I developed a leadership curriculum around data analysis and team building to help 12 High School Juniors and Seniors select 5 Cleveland nonprofits to allocate $25,000. The program was picked up by PBS television for its impact on High Schoolers in Cleveland. • I and the Director of Basic Needs provided a school district with a community needs assessment. I conducted 5 facilitation groups with parents, teachers, and students to learn about the strengths and needs of the school district. I then provided a 1.5-hour presentation based on a 20-page report I wrote for the school district.

As a chapter president, then as a full-time employee, I led classes and coached college students on various elements of leadership development. I also mentored 5 students from different colleges on the east coast on how to run a chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success. • I ran the scholarships and awards committee for two semesters, managed the review of over 500 scholarship applications, and awarded a total of $200,000 to 10+ college students.
