Peter currently leads the Industrial, Energy, Utilities and Venture Capital executive search practices for Johnson Partners in New Zealand. He brings over 20 years’ experience in Executive Search and Recruitment business leadership roles. Over this time, he has developed an impressive track record of C-level, business leadership and Non-Executive Board appointments within New Zealand’s Property, Construction, Diversified Manufacturing, Technology, Logistics, Financial Services, and Food Manufacturing organisations. Before joining Johnson Partners, Peter was a Senior Partner with Korn Ferry for five years, where he led the New Zealand Executive Search practice and was responsible for searches across the Industrial, Consumer, Technology and Financial Services practices. He was also responsible for partnering with colleagues across the globe to assist in the execution of international searches abroad, developing his global market insight to industry trends and best practice executive leadership.The 18 years prior saw Peter with a FTSE listed search business, firstly in Sydney, Australia and subsequently Auckland where he launched the company's New Zealand operation and led its growth and diversification for the following decade. Peter sat on the company's Australasian board where he contributed to the strategic direction of the New Zealand and Australian operations, whilst also focusing on executive appointments across all industry sectors within New Zealand. Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago.
