About Peter Macey
PhD student studying Biosciences at the University of Birmingham. My PhD project is investigating the ambient ionisation method native Liquid Extraction Surface Analysis (LESA) Mass spectrometry (MS) as a method to support the drug discovery process. I'm interested in the application of native mass spectrometry to the drug discovery process, especially for the characterisation of Antibody Drug-Conjugates (ADCs). I did my undergraduate degree at Loughborough University studied Chemistry (80.3%). I obtained experience within the pharmaceutical during my placement year at GSK in analytical chemistry. I also performed my third year dissertation project in co-operation with GSK and Loughborough University on a forced degradation study.
