Preformed analysis of over 25 different compounds found in multiple matrices from agricultural products to dietary supplements, through chemical extraction and HPLC/GC-MS/AA analysis. Preformed quantitative and qualitative analysis of agricultural products, including stability testing, falling number, ash, sand/silica, and various mycotoxin testing. Assisted in analysis (required bi-annually) for GAFTA certification. Preformed troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment in the lab.

Participated in a research study (Awarded through REU and UROP), where samples (leaf and floral) as well as physiological data was collected for a study of “Floral and indirect defense traits across a latitudinal gradient.” Assisted in seed collection (including proper identification of over 20 species, documentation of location/population size/time of collection), as well as prepared seeds for storage, for Project Baseline, an NSF-funded initiative to create a long-term research-grade seedbank for the study of plants over space and time. Assisted in data collection for project on Golden Rod, consisting of plant mass and date of first flowering.
