Over 18 years freelancing as a Live Event Project Manager/Technical Producer including 14 months as ‘permalancer’ within an agency. In this time I have managed various types of events and projects including Product Launches, Sales Briefings, Managers’ Meetings, Roadshows, Awards Shows, Gala Dinners and Pharmaceutical Events – Investigator and Monitor Meetings, Cycle Meetings, Symposium Satellite Meetings and Advisory Boards.My role as Project Manager/Producer on an event would normally entail –- Overseeing development, production and delivery of the event- Budget management of all production elements - Pre-production scheduling- Supplier selection and management- Specifying audio/visual equipment - Day-to-Day client contact- Overseeing presentation design - Speaker and presentation/media management- On-site management of the event and event personnel I have strong experience working in conjunction with Event Managers and Medical Education professionals whether internal or external, as part of the overall event team to successfully deliver events. I also have experience with the Webcasting of Live Events and the creation of post event content distribution via the Internet or Mixed-Media.

After previously working with 3rock on a freelance basis on a variety of projects, I joined the team as a full-time ’permalancer’, initially for a 3 month period, this eventually ran for 14 months. I worked mainly across the Sanofi-Aventis and Roche accounts, delivering primarily Live Events but also Video, Exhibitions and Mixed Media projects. Reporting to the Account Directors, I was responsible for managing all production elements from taking initial client briefs to the onsite project management.For Sanofi I managed the production of Cycle III Events, Sales Conferences and First Line Managers Briefings, working in conjunction with Sanofi’s external event management company who were responsible for event logistics. For Roche I produced two series of Investigator meetings each with a European, Asian and South American meeting, utilising local A/V suppliers and working with 3rock’s internal event management team.
