I am a project manager with Hayward Industries, a global manufacturer of swimming pool equipment and industrial flow control equipment. After graduating from UNC Charlotte with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology, I worked in NASCAR to gain hands on experience as a tire engineer and fabricator. In 2021, I started as a R&D Test Lab Engineer, at Hayward Industries, testing our products as part of new product development and industry compliance procedures. After two years, I moved into a product engineering position, using Solidworks and Siemens Teamcenter to design and develop new products, and improve existing ones. After approximately a year of this role, I transitioned into a project management role, and took on duties including managing the project schedule and budget. These projects have included new product development, cost savings methods, and industry compliance.
