Evaluate the skills, interests, and abilities of individuals with disabilities to identify suitable employment opportunities.Research and cultivate relationships with employers to create job opportunities tailored to the strengths and needs of individuals with disabilities. Provide on-the-job training and support to help individuals with disabilities learn job tasks, adapt to workplace culture, and develop necessary skills for success.Work with employers to identify and implement reasonable accommodations, such as assistive technology or modified work schedules, to ensure equal access and opportunity in the workplace.Advocate on behalf of individuals with disabilities to promote inclusive hiring practices and combat discrimination in the workplace.Collaborate with community organizations, vocational rehabilitation agencies, and other stakeholders to coordinate services and resources for individuals with disabilities. Provide ongoing support and follow-up to monitor progress, address challenges, and facilitate job retention and advancement. Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress, services provided, and outcomes achieved for reporting and compliance purposes.

Provide comprehensive case management to program participants, participates in the development of individual employment plan for the participant,establishes community-based employment sites for program participants,provides individualized job development to program participants,records, analyzes and reports results of the employment process in a concise and timely fashion by using all appropriate formats,provides follow-along services to applicable program participants,provides linkage to other applicable internal and external programs,ensures that employment job sites are accessible and in compliance with safety/health standards of this agency and other accrediting agencies. Ensure that peer review process takes place twice a month,maintains confidentiality of client information, employee information and other confidential information covered by regulations or professional ethics,completes agency security trainings as well as DCF yearly updated of Security Awareness and HIPPA.

Work with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, or community groups to build their capacity to fight poverty and address community needs.Assist in the development and implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at alleviating poverty, such as job training, education, housing, or healthcare services.Help organizations secure funding through grant writing, fundraising campaigns, and donor cultivation efforts to support their anti-poverty Recruit and manage volunteers to support various projects and programs, including coordinating volunteer training and supervision.Engage with community members, stakeholders, and partner organizations to assess needs, gather input, and foster collaboration to address poverty-related issues.Collect and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness, track outcomes, and measure impact in order to continuously improve services and strategies.Assist in communicating the organization's mission, goals, and accomplishments through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and presentations.Conduct research on best practices, policies, and resources related to poverty alleviation, and help organizations access and leverage these resources effectively. Provide training and technical assistance to staff, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen their skills and knowledge in areas relevant to poverty alleviation.Compile progress reports, success stories, and other documentation required by AmeriCorps VISTA and the sponsoring organization to demonstrate impact and compliance.
