The role of Conseiller Communication d’Entreprise consisted of translating and revising/proofing texts for HQ’s internal communications division.Achievements included:• Translating and revising a variety of texts produced by Hydro-Québec, such as press releases, information bulletins, technical specifications, complaint letters, tweets for Twitter and the HQ Web site, as well as marketing brochures and legal documents. • Proofing technical documents that are used to provide training to Hydro-Québec line workers.• Acting as a language resource by answering any questions relating to terminology asked by the company’s internal clients and stakeholders. Translating sections of Hydro-Québec’s annual report and assisting with the translation of the company’s financial statements.

As part of my duties, I was responsible for translating and editing a wide range of texts for the firm's Administration group. Along with the Directors of the various departments (IT, Financial Services, HR, Facilities and Office Services, Marketing and Business Development), I translated general and financial texts from French to English and verified the English version of texts that had already been translated to ensure that they were grammatically correct and free of typographic errors. My duties also included legal translations for Heenan Blaikie's Labour and Employment Law group.

Translation of a wide assortment of texts, primarily in the financial field. Documents consisted of tax bulletins, annual reports, financial statements, assurance updates and texts of a more general nature. Achievements include: Contributing to the translation of a large portion of the texts intended for the revamped RCGT corporate website, which was launched in 2011. Translation of a voluminous document entitled "A Simplified Guide to Occupational Health and Safety" for the company's SST group. Update of the 2011 edition of RCGT's renowned Guide de Planification Fiscal/Tax Planning Guide. Translation of an article entitled "Econometrics and the Montréal Office Model" for the company's Real Estate Consulting group. The article was subsequently published in Espace Montréal magazine, the reference guide for the Montréal office market. Translation of an Excel document providing information on all of RCGT's different departments, replete with a description of each department's specialty, types of clientele, results as well as the contact information of each group's directors. This document was eventually posted on RCGT's Intranet, where it can be viewed and consulted in a virtual format.
