Peter co-founded Capital Teas in 2007, leading business strategy and expansion to 24 stores in 8 states, raising over $13.0M in outside capital. He subsequently transformed the brand into a primarily eCommerce business, achieving national acclaim. In 2018, he founded Anchor Beverages, Inc. to operate the Capital Teas brand, selling premium loose teas to thousands of repeat eCommerce customers. In 2024, he sold the company in a private sale and remains aboard in a transition capacity.

Served as part-time, interim CEO of this well-funded eDiscovery firm while continuing to serve as full-time CEO of Capital Teas. Conquest specialized in eDiscovery in support of patent litigation. During a six-month tenure, he dramatically changed the company's direction and path, consolidated offices, rightsized, and then grew rapidly adding more than 50% to the staff size and several hundred percent to revenue.

Key player in complex civil trials and commercial arbitrations for high profile clients. Helped clients achieve situational legal advantages and mitigate legal risks. Represented plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving complex financial transactions, bankruptcy litigation, consumer class actions, and intellectual property.

Served as an independent consultant in the high tech and critical infrastructure sectors while attending law school at Georgetown University.

Served as non-career SES (Senior Executive Service) Presidential appointee. Developed and implemented strategies for assessing vulnerabilities in the nation’s critical infrastructure to match against threat appraisals and to deploy protective resources. Coordinated operations of six DHS divisions in cyber and physical security. Prepared financial analyses and projections, established budgets. Fostered outreach and education. Developed implementation strategies for the merger of multiple federal government agencies into DHS.

Served as an independent developer, consultant, and broker in private real estate ventures. Earned a New York real estate broker's license selling New York City properties through the Corcoran Group.

Conceptualized, built, and led operations of a financial software system provider for the non-profit sector. Attained top clients including Habitat for Humanity, Legal Aid Society of New York, and the Archdioceses of Kansas City and Philadelphia for integrated donation processing, bank data and cash flow forecasting, investment and debt management, and accounting system integration. Developed strategic relationships with major financial institutions and other software firms.

Turned around and grew this financial software company from a $500K valuation to a $30M sale to a French public company in eight years. Expanded operations from a staff of 10 to over 100 while sustaining 40% annual revenue growth and increasing profitability. Sold mission-critical software system to 200 prominent $1B+ companies and top government organizations, automating their treasury and cash management operations. Key XRT clients included IBM, Prudential, Exxon, Sony, Chevron Texaco, Cisco, AT&T, Comcast, and Aramco, plus large government agencies such as the FDIC, AAFES, and the CIA. Accelerated international growth by establishing a fully functioning European subsidiary that achieved independent profitability within three years of its launch. Conducted investor presentations throughout the U.S. and Europe. Served as EVP of the French public company, XRT-CERG S.A., after its acquisition of XRT, leading a staff of 500 people with a budget of €65M. Received the Philadelphia Fast 50 Award as CEO of one of the 50 Fastest Growing Tech Companies in 1998 and 1999. Named one of the ‘40 Under 40’ by the Philadelphia Business Journal in 1999.
