Peter is an experienced green infrastructure and natural environment policy-maker and project manager, with a particular interest in urban ecology, urban greening and nature conservation.Since January 2021 I have been a freelance consultant having previously worked for the Greater London Authority where he introduced green infrastructure and urban greening policies into the London Plan. I have also worked for Natural England, the London Ecology Unit and London Wildlife Trust.With extensive experience of how policy can be interpreted to achieve practical solutions, I work with a wide variety of partners to optimise environmental outcomes through a more integrated approach to planning, design and development. I am a Design Council Expert and a member of Urban Design London's Environmental Design Review Panel. I regularly speaks at seminars and conferences in London and the UK and overseas in places as diverse as Hong Kong, Melbourne, Montreal, Vienna and Barcelona.I am a long standing member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and am a Building with Nature Approved Assessor.Contact: peter@futurenatureconsulting.co.uk
