I work as the Half Owner & Director of Tolvern. In this role, I lead the organisation’s team of knowledgeable and hardworking staff, whilst also providing specialist Tax & Accounting advice to a wide range of clients In a previous life, I obtained a first class honors degree in Mathematics from Exeter University and I used to teach A-Level Maths at Truro & Penwith College before re-training in Tax and Accounting.I love the challenge of solving difficult mathematical and tax optimisation problems and find that some of the most complex finance matters can also be the most interesting. My passion lies with helping clients solve difficult problems and providing advice which is in the best interest of our clients.I am passionate about my work and am always keen to connect with those working within similar areas. I am a people person and am always open to networking.I achieved AAT Level 4 in 2016, then on to Chartered Tax Advisor in 2019.
