About Peter Masterton
Peter is Founding Partner and Executive Producer at PLAZA, formed in 2002. Over the past 20 years, he has produced thousands of TV commercials for clients such as Budweiser, Amazon, Apple, ING, Toyota, Nissan, ANZ Bank, VW, Ford, Sky TV, CUB, Optus Singtel, Coca Cola Worldwide, Virgin Australia, DHL and many, many more. Starting his career in music videos in London and Sydney, in 1997 Peter produced his first feature film – “Terra Nova”. Alongside director Paul Middleditch, in 2002 Peter launched PLAZA -- a boutique production company which since then has produced some of the most memorable and entertaining TV commercials, working in Australia, New Zealand, and with our partners in the US and UK. The duo made “Big Ad” for Carlton Draft, recognised by One Club for creativity as the Best Beer Ad of all time. Plaza was also recognised at Cannes Lions in the top 10 world production companies.
