I have over 25 years work experience in IT, starting in the ISP industry in the mid 90s and covering many disciplines and roles including network engineer, network manager, systems administrator, systems integrator, database administrator, programmer, and consultant. Throughout my IT career I have had a strong security focus, and I have specialised in it since 2002.In 2010 I completed studies for a Master of Information Systems Security degree, graduating with distinction in 2011. I attained the CISM certification in Feb 2013 after passing the CISM exam in June 2012 as the second rank holder for Melbourne. I have a Certificate IV in Frontline Management, plus a range of other industry certifications including SABSA SCF, ISACA CSX-P, and Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect.
