I was responsible for the recruitment and human resource management of casual tradesmen and project engineers for United Group Rail’s Broadmeadow Operation. In the 12 months I worked on this account I built the account from supplying 25 casual trade employees to supplying over 100 trade employees. Key responsibilities included:• Devising strategies for account growth• Management and leadership of over 100 field employees. Positively effecting attendance, timekeeping, morale, retention and performance• Contract development incorporating rates negotiation and billing• Focus on safety. Holding toolbox talks for over 100 field employees, representing employees at safety committee meetings and effecting fast return to work for injured employees
