  I worked in construction and maintenance of chemical plants and mine with ICI and all major contractors in management rolls up to contract manager.I am the Managing Director of PMC Supplies Limited. I formed the company in 1989 and have supplied most of the major petrochemical and off shore companies with safety equipment and do so currently.In 1998 my company was appointed as the distributor of IFEX portable equipment.In 1999 I went to Holland for a training course and qualified as a trainer.Later in that year I went to the manufacturing unit in Sittensen near Hamburg in Germany for my instruction in the heavy units used for tunnels, forest fires and military use, as I had practical experience in mines and vertical shafts under construction. For 19 years I have trained Fire, Police, Prison and MoD personnel.We have trained Police/Fire staff in the Palace of Westminster. Training took place in UK, Malta, Grand Cayman and China.Relevant ExperienceA MineCurrently providing training to Mine Rescue Team, on service contract ( for the past 10 years ) equipment supply and maintenance. Cross Rail, Training miners in egress techniques, supply of equipment, training safety team.Hind Head Tunnel Training miners and safety staff in egress techniques and providing equipment.Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL)Trained Safety Management Team and supplied equipment. Severn Rail Tunnel Training fire brigade staff. Supplied and maintain, equipment (on going ).I issue certificates of competence in the use of the equipment using a dual control system to be sure that all aspects of manual handling and product knowledge are fully understood and proved to me.We have trained people in the use of this equipment who are in extreme locations and in harms way.We have no recorded incident of failure of equipment or personnel, we believe this is due to our diligence.
