In this role I served as Consul-General and Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner for the States of Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

In this role I advised Tabcorp on strategies and actions as they relate to both the racing industry and governments in Australia. I liaised closely with the 8 State and Territory Principal Racing Authorities which are legislatively empowered to control, manage and promote racing within their jurisdiction.

The successful merger of the three bodies was an unprecedented initiative by Australia’s 8 State and Territory Principal Racing Authorities to form a national industry to the greatest possible extent.In this role I delivered a smooth and effective merger of the ARB, RISA and ASB of management, staff, IT and financial systems and managed rigorous and sustainable financial budget of the merged entity. I introduced some of the most significant reforms in the history of Australian racing, including bans on performance enhancing drugs, introducing a process for a whole-of-life traceability of a horse, and funding a long-term research project on gene doping.
