In 2018, I became CEO of Total Environmental Compliance (TEC), a company acquired by ECS (Electrical Compliance and Safety Ltd. TEC specialise in legionella assessment testing and water hygiene services. As we work towards delivering a full range of compliance services in the future, the acquisition of an established and high-quality operator forms clear synergies and business growth opportunities between ECS and TEC. We now employ over 125 compliance and testing professionals across the group and can offer UK-wide services with offices in Glasgow, Widnes, Corby and Brighton.

PMG Electrical formed in 2001 as an electrical installation, maintenance and repair company. As PMG grew, our core business model evolved, and we became a key supplier to UK social housing organisations and private landlords. To support this new business growth, we formed ECS (Electrical Compliance and Safety Ltd) in 2015 to specialise and focus on all aspects of electrical compliance, providing independent and impartial electrical inspections and condition reporting services predominantly in the social housing sector, but also within the public and commercial sector too. Today, our core business is fixed Electrical Installation Conditioning Reporting and Repairing services in the social housing and private housing sectors. Completing over 25,000 Electrical Installation Condition Reports on houses in 2018. As MD of ECS, I am fully committed to ensuring that ECS safeguards UK residents and families in their homes.We also carryout Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, Security Alarms, CCTV & Data Cabling installation & maintenance. To successfully manage and process large volumes of compliance work efficiently, we developed our own bespoke compliance management software (ECMS). This guarantees that our engineers follow consistent, robust, accurate, reliable and efficient inspection processes. Our software delivers added value, recording client tailored survey data as well as certification reports and has inline image capture. Clients have access to real time reporting, certification and key performance information via dedicated portals. As members of NAPIT, NICEIC and AESM, we are committed to continually improving electrical standards and awareness within the industry.
