As a verification lead, I had the responsibility of supporting a team of verification engineers with a focus on firmware. I developed and maintained several testing tools that aid in test automation and ease the process of regression testing as well as test development. I was responsible for the organized collection and delivery of test results and metrics to stake holders.

As a software lab assistant, I was out sourced as a testing resource for software based companies. I utilized tools for testing such as Visual Studio, Test Studio, and NUnit. Through out my employment at Winona State University, I wrote both automated and unit tests and am familiar with agile based work environments.

Ellington Missouri

-Performed a usability study on a class-developed webpage for Whole Kids Outreach in Ellington, Missouri.-Gathered goals and specifications from Whole Kids Outreach founder through Skype interviews.-Developed and conducted task scenarios for participants in Ellington.-Presented project intentions before Winona State University Student Senate and successfully received $2,800 in project funding.-Interacted with perspective users to determine how the webpage could improve in order to better serve the typical user.-Used metrics to measure task success/failure including a mouse click heat map, verbal recordings and timing and click count constraints.-Performed a post-test analysis by comparing data with pass/fail criteria and categorizing it to identify recurring patterns and themes.
