Peter McQuaid joined Avison Young’s Phoenix team in 2020 specializing in Tenant and Landlord Representation. Peter brings a diverse and highly successful background to the team specializing in Tenant/Landlord representation, knowledge of sales and leasing documents, knowledge of proformas and financial packages for lenders financing requirements and providing comprehensive real estate market and development packages for clients to identify opportunities. Prior to Avison Young, Peter worked with Strategic Retail Group until the company was acquired by Avison Young in October 2020. In this role, he concentrated on a large array of local and national retail tenants. His clients have included Salad & Go, Dairy Queen, Yogurtini, Gigi’s Cupcakes, Original Burrito Company, Farmer Boys, Western State Bank, Elements Therapeutic Massage, Papa Murphy’s and many more. Peter also works closely with developers and landlords to develop, stabilize and lease new and existing retail buildings and shopping centers.Peter was with the Focus Group Development Company, a full-service real estate development company specializing in Retail Tenant Build-to-Suit properties, from 2003 to 2015 to take advantage of his experience and relationships. The Focus Group clients included Tutor Time Child Care and Learning Center, Buffalo Wild Wings, AutoZone, Pizza Hut, Just Brakes, Washington Mutual, Starbucks Coffee and many more. During this time, he formed excellent relationships with tenants, contractors, architects, and lenders. Peter has been a life-long resident of Arizona and graduated with a degree in Business from Arizona State University. He has been actively involved in all aspects of commercial real estate, including brokerage, leasing, and development since 2000.
