As chairman/moderator (Dutch: dagvoorzitter) I host events that deal with sustainability, start-ups or the changing world around us. The ingredients that I bring are energy, out-of-the-box questions, and empathy. Clients include the municipality of Rotterdam (an event on wireless charging and one on how mobility transforms the city), the Dutch Embassy in London (on Electric Vehicles), WindChallenge (International Product Launch), Solar Business Day 2017 & 2018, Smart Storage 2015 & 2016, LED Expo and Pakhuis de Zwijger. One of my special clients is Climate College Tour, a series of inspirational interview sessions with front runners and innovators on climate, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. In January 2017 Timo Spijkerboer and myself started the podcast De Energie Gasten (in Dutch). The podcast is focused on the energy transition.

I was responsible for the team that entered the market of housing corporations. A market with a solar penetration of roughly 2% (2017) that's expected to double every year. With a mix of internal Sungevity employees and external strategic partners, we set up a proposition and successfully entered this market. In a 6 month-period we achieved a 50%+ conversion rate for the first housing corporation. --Sungevity is a solar sales and service platform with the headquarter based in the Netherlands.

Responsible to set up training content and materials for a new international partnership. Within 8 weeks the relevant content was gathered, the training methods defined, and the key persons where briefed and trained. A project with the perfect mix of (a) energy transition knowledge and (b) getting a message across effectively.--NewMotion is the European market leader in Electrical Vehicle charging infrastructure and (digital) charging services. NewMotion aims to accelerate the transition towards sustainable transportation by enabling consumers/companies to start using Electrical Vehicles. This is achieved by developing and rolling out the required infrastructure (charge points) and digital services to charge electric vehicles around the globe.

I was responsible for the market entry in Belgium. From no presence in Belgium we successfully moved into the market in August 2016 in partnership with ENGIE Electrabel. My activities included the development of an installer network, product portfolio, IT structure, legal set-up and the partnership with ENGIE.--Sungevity is a solar sales and service platform with the headquarter based in the Netherlands.

BlueGeneration is a research-oriented technology pioneer for decentralized energy solutions. I am involved in the project 'Slimme Stroom Ameland', where 45 highly innovative fuel cells are installed at homes and businesses on the island. In this way a Smart Grid can be developed and this adds to Ameland's target: to be energy neutral in 2020. More information: www.slimmestroomameland.nl
