I am a recent graduate of the University of Denver’s Masters of Library & Information Science program, looking into an archives-oriented position. My research interests include Archival Studies, Digital Preservation, Disability Services, Accessibility, and Best Practices for Digital Archives. I have worked in archives and digital collections for four years now, gaining experience in digitization, digital preservation schemas, transcription, metadata creation, and working within team settings. My Masters of Arts in American History has also given me an appreciation for how important the archives and special collections are for the additional branches of the humanities and social sciences.
