I managed a team of surveyors overseeing all types of Building Consultancy instruction and providing support and quality assurance. I focussed my own work on development / project management. Mare Street, Hackney – Office Re-Build - £3m - Acted as Landlord Project Monitor on an architecturally challenging re-development. High Street, Sutton – Office to Residential Conversion - £1.3m – Acted as Project Manager / Contract Administrator / Designer – Traditional. I supported a nationwide team of surveyors to provide clear commercial, client focussed advice to a range of corporate and private clients including Tesco, Co-op, National Rail, Santander, RBS, Telereal Trillium, Corporation of Trinity House and Henley Healthcare Investments. Henley Investments – Created a tailored pre-acquisition risk profile / budget for the Client and co-ordinated batch due diligence surveys on circa 20 properties per month. Tesco PLC – Managed the annual insurance re-valuation of a nationwide mixed-use portfolio with a rebuild value of circa £1bn. Corporation of Trinity House – Seconded to Client to lead on all asset enhancement works on a predominantly Grade II Listed estate (Trinity Village, Borough). RBS (West Register) – Oversaw the defect analysis, strip out, remedial repairs and reinstatement to a stressed asset – circa £2m

Working within a property management group I oversaw Section 20 consultation procedures to ensure they were correctly processed and procured refurbishment projects to private multi tenanted blocks throughout London and the South East.

Working ‘client side’ I provided board level advice on the strategic rationalisation of a 7,000 unit nationwide mixed-use property portfolio.

Working in council offices I identified and procured sympathetic adaptations to existing properties to assist the lives of elderly and disabled clients as well as sourcing funding to finance the works.

Working in a West End private practice I carried out typical commercial instructions including project management, contract administration, design & specification (including CAD), planned maintenance schedules, dilapidations, building surveys, building re-instatement cost assessments and neighbourly matters.

Working in Housing Associations I oversaw the maintenance and refurbishment of inner London social housing estates in conjunction with the Housing Act 2004 and associated ‘decent home standards’ being implemented.
