As an intern, I- Engineer prototypes for atrioventricular plane movement; select optimal materials and simulate head designs in SolidWorks; identify the best linear actuator/motor for the device.- Develop a UART communication app prototype in Flutter for motor control, employing STM32CubeIDE and Arduino for STM32F411 black pill microcontroller.- Design and print a voltage regulator PCB for efficient lab experiments.- Design a power module with charging mechanisms, LiPo battery management, voltage sensing, and power distribution for Bluetooth, SD card, and WiFi modules. Integrate the power module with an ESP32 microcontroller.- Presented on an automated physiological control algorithm at the ASAIO 70th Annual Conference, won the “Most Innovative Technology” award.

ULA for CPSC 100 - Introduction to Computing and Programming. This is Harvard's CS50 Course taught on Yale University's campus. As a ULA, I - co-teach discussion sections to supplement the course material and to further students' understanding and knowledge of the topics discussed in class- run office hours to help students understand the content and work through problem sets- grade problem sets and leave comments to increase student comprehension.

Supervise, mentor, and teach hardware office procedures and complex hardware and software troubleshooting techniques to 40+ Student IT Technicians to enable them to excel in their roles and contribute effectively to the IT office’s work.

Supervise student technicians and continue to perform the student technician function. Manage and assign tech support requests. Train incoming student technicians on processes, procedures, and time management. Assist in hiring and onboarding student technicians, including interviewing and recommending candidates.

The Student Technicians are a group of students who service the technological needs of Yale undergraduates, graduate students, and professional students. As a Student Tech, I- Provide tech support for graduate and undergraduate students.- Service clients’ computers, including hardware repairs and complex software fixes.- Troubleshoot in person with clients to solve technological issues to their satisfaction. - Advise students on device setup; and Yale hardware, software, and systems.

As a research assistant for Prof. Manohar in the Computer Systems Lab, an interdisciplinary lab of Electrical Engineers and Computer Scientists that study a wide range of domains namely architecture, biologically-inspired computing, and VLSI, I:- Employ Fugu, an HDL, to map deep learning algorithms onto neuromorphic architecture to exploit its properties.- Determine a benchmark suite of algorithms that showcases the efficiency of spike-based neuromorphic systems.

In this role, the primary responsibility was to help drive the successful transition of products (in this case, membranes) from early development to product release, utilizing a Stage-Gate Process.To achieve this goal, I- Automated the decanting process of filter manufacturing by developing a new procedure, reestablishing a failsafe, and creating preventative maintenance measures to ensure continued function. Increased the process’s accuracy by 15% and precision by 10%.- Managed the auto-decant project above, presented updates, led meetings and delegated action items to cross-functional teams.- Performed statistical analyses for validation and qualification using Minitab that contributed to the successful transition of a product to the manufacturing stage.- Developed and revised technical documentation, namely standard operating procedures and process records to maximize clarity, improve processes, and reduce error.

As a research assistant for Prof. Hu in the Photocatalytic Materials and Interfaces Lab, which studies light-driven catalytic reactions, namely photocatalysis, to achieve a decarbonized economy of scale, I have worked on the following:- Designed a simulation of a photoelectrochemical device that uses light to split water into hydrogen and oxygen gas.- Modeled the device in 3D, critiquing the design to make it more easily understandable and realistic. - Analyzed research papers to dissect the chemical properties of catalysts used in the device. - Aided in preparing a grant proposal to the US Department of Energy.
