My responsibilities included:• Creating video content across all Discovery UK YouTube and Facebook pages, including cutdowns, shorts, compilations and reels, edited using Adobe Premiere Pro. Three of my edits became the three top-earning Facebook videos in July 2024 (for the TV series Mystery Diners and Say Yes To The Dress).• Producing YouTube thumbnails using Photoshop in line with brand guidelines, as well as writing copy and metadata for each upload across YouTube, Facebook and Snapchat.• Editing short-form video content for The Bad Skin Clinic on Snapchat, including subtitling. One such edit was the top-performing piece of content for July 2024, performing well above the channel average and earning twice as much as the second-highest earning video.

My responsibilities included:• Co-managing the Globe’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok feeds, including community engagement, developing innovative and effective content ideas, and sharing posts at optimal times. • Collaborating with the Content Team to manage the Globe’s YouTube channel: scheduling and uploading videos, creating thumbnails, writing copy, and optimisation for video search.• Supporting the Content Team with content creation – including being a runner and camera operating on film shoots, editing videos on Adobe Premiere Pro, sharing online and producing thumbnails formatted for each platform.• Liaising with the Campaigns Team on the development of Social Media content for the Winter 2022/23 and Summer 2023 seasons.• Creating Blogs for the Shakespeare’s Globe website – including editing, transcribing and writing copy. • Capturing photo and video content for the Globe’s Social Media feeds and Website, editing and optimising content for individual social media platforms, using Adobe Photoshop. • Community management for the Globe’s Teacher’s Group on Facebook.• Reporting on the analytics and performance of specific Social Media campaigns against key objectives to create learnings for future campaigns.• Working with the Web and Content Teams to source images and clips for the Globe’s video-on-demand service, Globe Player.• Liaising with the Press Team on the tone of voice and approach to Social Media and Website content for high-profile communications such as the King’s Coronation, as well as for key Press Releases.• Working with the Heads of Department, the Press Team and Social Media Manager on handling crisis communications and online controversy, most notably the backlash to I, Joan (2022) • Act as a Social Media champion for the Globe, advising on best practice and providing training as necessary to internal stakeholders.
