The Center for Theory of Change is dedicated to education, development, and dissemination of this conceptual and methodological process. The Center offers courses, an online tool for creating ToCs, personalized training and monographs, presentations and videos about ToC. The Center is an international organization but also has an affiliate branch in Japan and is preparing for one in France.This interim position will allow the advisory board, Heléne, and I to deepen C-TOC’s course offerings, trainings, and overall outreach, as well as its grant-writing efforts and partnerships.

Provided development services to performing arts and community-based programs in New York City. Collaborated with artists and a consortium of nonprofit service providers to conceive a new program aimed at supporting marginalized communities in NYC, Nashua NH, Los Angeles, Tucson, San Diego and Seattle.

Co-founder of the Lillie May Carroll Jackson School, a public charter middle school for girls serving a population of approx. 350 students, coordinating connections between The Bryn Mawr School (on whose behalf I worked) and the Baltimore City Public School System, furthering the school’s mission of preparing young women for a life of intellectual engagement by striving to serve more girls—and the widest range of racial and socio-economic identities possible within our city. • Co-wrote the school’s charter—the first charter in the nation awarded to an independent school—after several year exploration of how to merge the best of private and public educational practices • Presented charter to Baltimore City School Board; won approval in spring 2013. • Drove initial fundraising with founding board chair and founding executive director.
