Debugged the signal out of the electronic amplifier to ensure the test bed was linear and wrote a diagnostic script for users.• Designed a multiscale mesh for thermal FEA on a nuclear reactor in an attempt to find simulated defects, showing that distortions are marginally detectable. -

Computed the value and uncertainty of boiling properties for methane and oxygen.• Analyzed radiation heat transfer for cryogenic liquid through a transfer line, accounting for several objects in the surrounding area. These results led management to change insulation on the line.• Conducted a system trade study of the ballast system of an extraterrestrial submarine for Saturn’s moon Titan, with mass estimates, power estimates and pros/cons to inform future product development.• Produced CAD drawings of a proof of concept for cryogenic ballast systems.• Organized decades of solubility data for nitrogen, methane and ethane, and fit a correlation to predict solubility at many temperatures and pressures.• Wrote several papers and presented at several conferences. -
