Peter J. Miner is a skilled program manager with vast experience leading and managing regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and safety activities. The key emphasis during his career has been on establishing and enforcing high standards, building and sustaining credibility with regulatory agencies, and engaging stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategic objectives.His experience includes over 25 years in various leadership roles. He has held positions at commercial nuclear power plants and at uranium enrichment facilities. His expertise spans a wide range of functional areas, including nuclear licensing and regulatory compliance; quality assurance; nuclear safety; safeguards and security; environmental, safety and health; performance improvement; causal analysis and corrective actions; construction engineering; project management; and process computer engineering. Throughout his career, Peter has been the primary interface with U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and U.S. Department of Energy staff. He has made presentations at national conferences relating to major nuclear licensing initiatives and nuclear security.Recently, Peter transitioned from Nuclear Quality Assurance Manager to a part-time role as Project Manager, where he continues to support his business unit’s goal of delivering high quality valve testing products and engineering services to customers. He also assists with implementing the business unit’s robust trade compliance program in accordance with import/export laws and regulations, and corporate policies and procedures. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Science in Environmental, Safety and Health Management from the University of Findlay. He is a Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute and recently earned the Certified Information Systems Auditor designation from ISACA.Peter is a member of the American Nuclear Society.
