I lead a remarkable team at Holkham who shape the success of the 16 very different businesses which make Holkham so unique.Holkham is a pioneering rural estate that sustains its agricultural leadership dating back to Coke of Norfolk in the early 19th century, while diversifying into a powerfulset of visitor/leisure/tourism businesses.The Estate’s vision is “to be the UK’s most pioneering and sustainable rural Estate”.The Estate’s operations are summarised below:• Holkham Hall and park, including indoor and outdoor events, café, restaurant and children’s adventure playground, cycle hire, walled garden & educational activities• 10,000ha of agricultural land (including 3,000ha of in-hand operations), and 1,000ha of woodland• Portfolio of 275 residential properties and a range of commercial lets• In-house property development with projects ranging from £1 million to £10 million• Solar park, biomass heating, GSHP and anaerobic digester• Range of in-hand tourism-focused enterprises including a 600 pitch caravan park, beach café, car parks and a 20 bedroom hotel and restaurant (the Victoria)• In-house management of the Holkham National Nature Reserve
