In order to maximise margin and optimize service levels, a comprehensive study was undertaken to assist in our truck rental company to understand the detail behind their costing and develop a mechanism for defining offerings and service levels to the contract and truck rental market. 2. Nestle Distribution Contract Nestle’s local distribution was managed though a myriad of different Truck Rental companies competing on a daily truck hire basis, which was not advantageous, or cost effective for the organisation. I constructed and presented a solution, offering an integrated approach, which runs the project on a fixed cost per Kilogram. As a Result, the contract was awarded to us.
