Plan 4 IT GroupBased in North Yorkshire, Plan 4 IT Group is a leading UK Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) terminal managed services provider carrying out 1,000 merchant chip and pin visits per day contracting directly with major Banks and related organisations. Founded the company and developed all of the systems to deliver a support service second to none. Plan 4 IT provided a next day installation service across the UK, Republic of Ireland and Europe. This included a call centre, warehouse and distribution system, engineer installation, engineer maintenance, terminal removal, disposal of equipment (WEEE regulated) all managed by a bespoke web based management system which was specifically designed for the business viewed internally and externally to customer organisations.

Joined National Cash Registers as a field engineer providing engineer support for ATM, PCs, printers and all related banking equipment. Area of support was the North of England, however was regularly asked to help in London when they area had problems. Quickly promoted to Senior Engineer running a small team, ensuring that all jobs were completed to meet Service Level Agreements. NCR provided me with a strong understanding of commercial business operations, giving me the desire and knowledge to found my own company.
