I was one of the launching editors of the Westchester-based news websites. I helped young reporters get their feet wet, organize stories and figure out how to cover a beat. From late May until late February I was a copy editor for the 32 websites.

I was the chief spokesperson for DHCR for 4 1/2 years. I handled media on breaking news, events and positive stories. I also wrote speeches, press releases and managed information on both internet and intranet sites.

I was an investigative producer, enterprise producer, political producer and field producer and was nominated for one Emmy in my eight years at the station.I was a resource for the news department in connecting to politicians, NYPD and other movers and shakers. Broke many stories during my time there and enjoyed the friendships I made there and still.

I had an interesting career at a newspaper known for its rough and tumble nature and abrasive in your face news style.
