Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of the District’s structured cabling plants, analog/IP-based multimedia, public address, sound systems, multimedia projectors, access control, video surveillance, analog/IP video systems as well as other systems that may connect to, or be associated with, the FWISD network infrastructure at 145+ locations.• Installs maintains, and repairs structured data and voice cabling systems.• Installs, maintains and repairs CAT 3, 5e, 6, and 6A structured data cabling systems within District facilities including aerial, under buildings, and underground installations.• Troubleshoots, installs, maintains, and repairs analog and IP-based video surveillance components.• Retrofits, installs, repairs, and assesses video systems and access control.• Documents and updates of District cabling plants and as-built drawings.• Installs Cable Support and Raceway Systems such as cable trays, ladder racks, J-hooks, bridle/D-rings, messenger wires, inner ducts, and associated hardware.• Conducts testing using tone test set, volt-ohm meter, Fluke, or related network testing equipment, and diagnoses open, shorted, crossed, split pairs, and active circuits.• Constructs data closets (i.e., Mounts and installs backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optics, and associated hardware per District and industry standards).• Installs, maintains, and repairs analog/IP-based multimedia projection and sound systems.• Installs, maintains and repairs digital signage solutions.• Installs, maintains, and repairs analog/IP-based Public Address systems.• Assists network operations in maintaining and repairing analog, digital, and IP-based telephony systems.• Assists with physical installation, connection, and maintenance of network switches, routers, and wireless access points.• Works in a team-based environment, including teams from other departments.

All backup are done with Veritas Backup Exec software.• Knowledge of FUJITSU 9600 PBX phone system. Adding, deleting, and moving individual phones around the company. Monitor, maintain and backup of voice mail, and phone directory database.• Keep computer hardware and software updated to meet organization’s needs.• Setting up new workstation, and configuring it to be part of the network.
