Peter has worked in the UK Construction Industry as an Engineer then Project Manager with Sir Robert McAlpine for past 20 years. Experience in Retail, Office, Healthcare, Research, Industrial, Civil and Wind Energy projects / sectors. Notable projects under his Project Management include Hospital extension including Intensive Care Wards and operating theatres, large scale city center mixed use developments, Defense Research Offices and Laboratories, 44 No. turbine Wind Farm in Northern California, a fast track extension to the National Composite Centre in Bristol and the Pinewood Studios Development Framework.In March 2016 Peter was appointed the position of Managing Director for Wales and the South West, responsible for the strategic development of the business including overseeing of both work winning and operational functions within the business unit. Peter has lead teams in overhauling Risk and Opportunity Management process as well as integrated reporting and national involvement in sustainability and quality leadership forums including Innovation development.Over the past 3 years Peter headed up our Channel Island operations as we develop future projects with our island partners including the delivery of the Jersey Nightingale Hospital, and more recently has been appointed to the Senior Management team for the SRM Southern Region holding the role as the Southern Operation Director to lead the development of the systems and processes that drive our business.
