The champagne corks were poping at the opening of my fabulous new perfumery called Pulse of Perfumery which opened its doors on December 10th 2011. The reaction from absolutely everyone has been amazing and even though it is very new the recall of visitors is incredible. My fiancée and I are delighted and we will be developing our business which will include a premium perfumery on the ground floor, a life style area on the first floor and eventually a sensory court yard garden at the back. My new journey begins. I am now the Managing Director of On the Pulse of Perfumery Ltd. Currently working as a freelance consultant in the beauty and fragrance business, sharing my knowledge with a number of companies. Primarily working to support the transition of the new La Perla fragrance distribution, training and Management of the House of Lubin fragrances in the UKThe next step in my journey: I am working on plans to open my first Premium Fragrance Boutique in Cheshire, hopefully, by December 2011. I am delighted to be asked to speak at the BSP (British Society of Perfumers) conference in April and will no doubt continue my journey deeper into the wonderful world that is perfume.Recent developments within the structure of Hornvale and desires by the new owners have resulted in the distribution of the Fragrances being moved to an alternative distributor. It is now time, after 25 years, for me to exit La Perla and begin a new journey. Fragrance and Beauty are very close to my heart and it is without question that I will remain in this wonderful industry.
